Revitalizing a Lost Passion

It's been nearly two years since I graduated from college. It's also been nearly two years since I've even written a word. When I was younger, I spent most of my time writing fantasy novels and dreaming up magical scenarios. Somewhere along the line I lost that drive. Honestly, it's been stifling to claim myself a writer but have nothing to show for it.

So I'm starting again, but with baby steps. I still have an epic to write at some point in my life, but in the meantime I'll be using a writer's workbook to stimulate my interest in prose (The Write-Brain Workbook by Bonnie Neubauer). I'll admit, I've always thought of workbook exercises as rather hokey, but I figured I would give it a try. And here is where I'll share what I find.

In 'Workbook Inspirations' you'll find short stories and other brief bits of writing that result from such exercises. The blog on the main page will provide a little insight into the whole process.

'Merged Worlds' will hold chapters of a novel I'm in the process of rewriting. Check the blog on main page there for more details.
